Consort

Brampton Consort is a sub-group of Brampton Chamber Choir, and is made up of five singers who sing one voice to a part. We regularly sing semi-chorus sections, providing a lighter texture which contrasts well with the full, warm sound of the whole choir.  We always perform stand-alone works within Brampton Chamber Choir concerts, and also give concerts independently.

COMING UP:

Our next performance is at 3pm on Sunday 10th May 2026. We are delighted to welcome Frances Faux (soprano and keyboard), along with historian Maks Loth-Hill for an exploration of women writers of the Renaissance. Maks is well known for his lively talks which bring history to life. He will be examining the works of four women writers, based on the book Shakespeare’s Sisters by Ramie Targoff, with Brampton Consort providing illustrative music of the period.
