Sunday 14th December 2025 at 3pm at Lanercost Priory with harpist Lucy Nolan and a really big audience – thank you for supporting us.

Our 2025 summer concerts were at St Martin’s Church Brampton on Friday 11th July, repeated at Holm Cultram Abbey, Abbeytown near Wigton on Sunday 20th July. We were delighted to be joined by the talented saxophonist Anna Morley. (Thank you Alan Sawyer for the photo)


Our springtime concert featured Haydn’s “Nelson” Mass at Lanercost Priory. Here we are enjoying the applause at the end of the performance.

Sunday 17th December 2023: carol singing at The Fleece, Ruleholme at 3 pm, followed by a carol service at Lanercost Priory.
On Saturday 25th November 2023: a concert for Advent at St Kentigern’s, Caldbeck.
In July 2023, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Eden Brass quartet for a concert featuring music by Gabrieli, Bach, Palestrina and Purcell. It took place at Holme Cultram, Abbeytown near Silloth – what a fabulous place to perform!

Our Passiontide concert was on Saturday 25th March, at Lanercost Priory. We sang sacred music for the season of Lent, including masses by William Byrd (1539 – 1623), and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (1525 – 1594).

Our last Christmas concert was on Sunday 11th December 2022. Thank you to Brampton Methodist Church for allowing us to come to your warm building after problems with the heating at Lanercost Priory.

On Saturday 24th September 2022 we were at St Kentigern’s Church in Caldbeck. “Songs for September” featured works by Henry Purcell and Ralph Vaughan Williams, and what a warm welcome we received – thank you for having us.
